The question is how to make competition 'creators' and 'winners' aware that by winning they in effect make the majority lose so their selfish act of winning makes more people lose so everyone looses.

Is there a simple way to educate competitive people to collaborate as competitions makes a few winners and a LOT of people lose which is bad compared to collaboration where everyone helps each other so everyone wins dues to the increased output.

The danger as always is the ignorant thinking that they know everything and not questioning their preconceptions.
