#What: #habits, #cultures, #fashions, #mannerisms, #behaviours, #words, #diseases have #negative #effects & #how 2 be #aware so we do not pass them on to others and can cure them if needed? #knowledge ?

Vices and Virtues are good examples. and earlier post on http://www.whymandesign.posterous.com explains more.

What is the best way to make everyone aware of the dangerous meem's that affect them and how to combat them?
Education and teaching the quest for Knowledge may be the best way. We are creating crowdsourced learning at http://www.WEBiversity.org and would like to work with you to help everyone help everyone.

Negative meem's can be eradicated (just like viruses have been) with education but one danger is that postive meem's can be eradicated too (by negative meems as they often try to fight with the postive meem).

Dan Dennet has a great talk that explains more...

He also says that he things that the secret to happiness is to...

Find something that is more important than you are and to dedicate your life to it.
